Motorcyclist killed in crash with SUV in Charlevoix Co.
The Charlevoix County Sheriff’s Office says a motorcyclist died in a crash with a car on Tuesday. Deputies were called to the intersection of M-66 and Rogers Road in South Arm Township around 3:30 p.m. They say the motorcyclist was thrown off their bike in the crash with an SUV and died at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the East Jordan Police Department, Jordan Valley EMS Authority, East Jordan Fire Department, and Charlevoix County Victim Services Unit.

Cyclist injured after being struck by vehicle on U.S. 31 on Friday
PETOSKEY — A 72-year-old cyclist was injured on Friday morning while riding in Bear Creek Township after being struck by a vehicle. According to Emmet County Sheriff Pete Wallin, the accident occurred around 9:20 a.m. on U.S. 31 near Shaw Road when Catheryn Bryant, 44, was driving northbound on U.S. 31 and became distracted.
