Former No. 1 Overall Recruit Named Spring Game Standout

Spring practices have come to a close and multiple spring games gave fans a glimpse of the future of their favorite programs.

There might not be a player who received more hype from their spring game performance than Texas quarterback Arch Manning. Manning stole the show despite being projected as the backup due to the return of Quinn Ewers.

Manning finished the game with 355 passing yards and three touchdowns, including a 75-yard touchdown on his first throw of the day. The NFL legend completed 19 of 26 passes, which earned him spring standout honors from 247Sports .

Manning signed with the Longhorns as a five-star prospect out of New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the No. 1 overall prospect in the class of 2023, according to the On3 industry rankings.

Still, the Longhorns' future looks bright, and fans should be very excited about it.
