Road work on Route 138 in Raynham will bring a northbound detour and potential traffic delays from Nov. 9 through Dec. 31. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will conduct work between I-495 and Robinson Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to a community announcement. The work is scheduled daily from Nov. 9 through Dec. 31 and is expected to be completed by the afternoon of Dec. 31. Route 138 southbound will remain open. Route 138 northbound detour During work hours, drivers traveling north on Route 138 will be directed to: Turn right onto Elm Street East. Turn left onto Ann Street. Turn left onto Robinson Street. Turn right onto Route 138 northbound. Signs and messages will direct motorists through the work area. Drivers should expect delays, reduce their speed and use caution when traveling through the affected area. The construction schedule is weather dependent and may change without notice.
