The Atlanta Falcons select Alabama's Jase McClellan with the 186th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. If you have fallen asleep by this time, we all understand. With a lull of 30+ picks to wait out, the energy is tough to hold on to. However, the Falcons selection of McClellan should get you out of your seat.

While the backfield of Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier, there had to be a third guy waiting. At 5'10" and 221 pounds, McClellan slots in as the third-down back who gives that more physical, hard-nosed approach to running the football.

Running back depth may not have been on the top shelf of needs, but fortifying the running game behind Kirk Cousins does help the offense in 2024 and beyond.
