Suspect charged in April killing of transgender woman at SW Atlanta apartments
A Stone Mountain man who was booked into the Fulton County Jail on unrelated charges last week has now been accused in the April killing of transgender woman Ashley Burton, officials said.

Shorting before 8:00 PM, officers were dispatched to reports of gunfire on 400 W. Peachtree St. NW near Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard. When they arrived at the scene, they found Breanna Woods, 28, critically wounded.

Gunman wanted for shooting 2 kids arrested
Police say a gunman who shot two children in DeKalb County is behind bars. Deonte Daugherty was charged with cruelty and assault Monday night.
