Daggett man accused of threatening UP officials to be prosecuted by AG's Office
MENOMINEE, MI— The Michigan Attorney General’s Office will prosecute the case against a Menominee County man accused of threatening a number of government officials. Peter Sand, 22, of Daggett, is charged with false report or threat of terrorism, using the internet/telecommunications to commit terrorism, and felony using a computer to commit a crime.
Emergency food and shelter funds available in tri-county area
Tri-County United Way has announced that Oconto, Marinette and Menominee Counties have been chosen to receive funds from the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to supplement emergency food and shelter programs.
