Downstate man sentenced in Menominee County on cocaine charge
MENOMINEE, MI— A Traverse City man has been sentenced in Menominee County on a cocaine charge. Raymond MacLeod, 39, was given 18 months to 4 years in prison. Last October, Michigan State Police conducted a traffic stop on US-41 near Snow Road in Nadeau Township. During the investigation, a K-9 was deployed. The dog alerted troopers to 8 grams of cocaine in the passenger compartment.

Daggett man accused of threatening UP officials to be prosecuted by AG's Office
MENOMINEE, MI— The Michigan Attorney General’s Office will prosecute the case against a Menominee County man accused of threatening a number of government officials. Peter Sand, 22, of Daggett, is charged with false report or threat of terrorism, using the internet/telecommunications to commit terrorism, and felony using a computer to commit a crime.
