Crook County senior Tyson Martinez and sophomore Bryce Lowenbach have both received honorable mention recognition on the OSAA Class 4A Boys All-State Baskeball Team. Freshman Bales honorable mention all-state
Crook County High School freshman Anna Bales was recently named to the Class 4A All-State basketball team. Bales, a guard, led the Cowgirls in scoring, steals and assists, while helping to lead Crook County to the first round of the state playoffs. She received honorable mention recognition on the all-state team. Bales averaged 12.7 points per game, 5.3 assists, and 9.83 steals per game. She was also second in the team in rebounding at 5.7 boards per game. ...

A motorist was seriously injured late Saturday night in a single-vehicle crash in northeast Prineville.
