Craft Beer Night returns to Albertville Friendly City Days
Albertville will celebrate its 37th annual Friendly City Days festival June 5-9, and this year marks the 10th annual Craft Beer Night hosted by the Albertville Fire Relief Association. The Craft Beer Night will take place on Thursday, June 6, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Central Park Beer Garden. Patrons will be able to choose 12 different craft brews from the Minnesota region – beer is served in cans. The Local Bands, Kevin James and the Weary and Shirts and Skins, will perform on the stage. - The following incidents were reported in the city of Independence. Monday, April 15 - An officer was on routine patrol and observed a vehicle with a flat tire on the 2500 block of County Road 92. The officer stopped and spoke to the driver who advised roadside service stated they wouldn’t be out for four hours. The officer transported the driver to his work and then figured out what to do with his vehicle. Tuesday, April 16 - An officer was on routine patrol in the area and observed a damaged vehicle at the intersection of County Road 92 and Highway 12. The officer spoke to the driver, and it was determined the car struck and went over the center island roundabout. Ultimately, the driver was arrested for a DWI. Pending results and charging.
