No Injuries Reported After Gunfire Strikes Home in Brooklyn Park, Police Seek Leads
Tensions flared in Brooklyn Park as officers responded to a gunfire incident late Thursday night. Authorities were called to the scene on the 9100 block of Georgia Ave. N at approximately 9:26 p.m. Multiple shell casings were discovered upon arrival, and damage was evident with at least one home being struck by bullets, as confirmed by the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Minneapolis residents are in for a gusty and stormy week, according to the latest weather reports from the government. Starting today, increasing clouds are rolling in, with winds ramping up to breezy conditions, "with a southeast wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon," and gusts that could reach as high as 30 mph, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

MINNEAPOLIS — Monday will be warm and windy, and more rain is on the way this week.Highs in the Twin Cities will be around 75 degrees and wind gusts will reach up to 45 mph. Western Minnesota will be under a wind advisory from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.Storms will develop out west later in the day and pass through the metro Tuesday morning. More showers and storms are possible in the afternoon as well. The threat of severe weather will mostly be concentrated south of the Twin Cities, but there is a chance of stronger storms in the metro, too. Highs will top out in the lower 70s.Wednesday will be fairly dry, then Thursday will bring more rain and cooler temperatures.The weekend forecast is looking pleasant so far, with sunshine and highs in the upper 60s on tap.
