Monticello High School Activities Director Gary Revenig has been at it for a long time. Revenig graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1990 with a degree in elementary education with a minor in coaching. Monticello High School junior Addison Kiphuth recently joined the 100-point club with the girls’ lacrosse team. On Thursday, April 18, Kiphuth scored three goals and added three assists during a 15-5 win over Becker to become the fifth girl in program history to reach 100 career points. She joined the exclusive club in just her 28th game with the Magic.

MONTICELLO — The Monticello Diversity Committee hosted its second annual Multicultural Festival Saturday afternoon at Monticello Middle School. Called "Around the Globe," the event featured booths representing 24 different countries. Each booth included foods from that culture for visitors to sample, with representatives of each country dressed in traditional garb. There were also several performances, including an Aikido demonstration, children from a Mexican ballet troupe and Peruvian dancers, among others. Check out photos from the lively event, above.
