Myon Burrell charged with 2nd drug crime since 18-year murder sentence commuted
MINNEAPOLIS — Myon Burrell, 38, was arrested on Thursday and formally charged on Friday with one count of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance in Hennepin County.Burrell was released from prison in 2020 after serving 18 years for the 2002 murder of Tyesha Edwards. Since his 2020 release, Burrell has been no stranger to the judicial system, currently facing charges for a 2023 arrest where he was charged with fifth-degree controlled substance as well as gun possession by an ineligible person. Teen injured in Highway 52 crash
(ABC 6 News) – One person is injured after a crash on Highway 52 early Sunday morning. According to Minnesota State Patrol, it happened around 12:39 a.m. in Goodhue County. The crash report states 18-year-old Dakota Porter from Mayer, MN was traveling northbound on Highway 52, when he over-corrected and rolled in the median.
BCA Identifies Carver County Deputies Involved in Chanhassen Shooting; Suspect in Stable Condition
