Huntsville Middle School Principal Rachel Lay on Monday announced the Top Ten academic students from the school’s 2024 eighth grade class. Special celebrations at Oliver Springs church Saturday and Sunday
Little Leaf Missionary Baptist Church in Oliver Springs will be celebrating the church's 134th Anniversary and Homecoming, as well as 50 years of singing this weekend. At 5 p.m. Saturday, May 4, the Little Leaf Anniversary Choir will celebrate 50 years of singing, with a concert to feature the Douglass Family Gospel Singers of Harriman, and Minister Ira Rankins. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the singing.
Police say Truck Driver in Fatal Minnesota Accident was Watching Netflix
UNDATED -- A semi-truck driver involved in Southern Minnesota crash that killed an Iowa couple is accused of watching Netflix at the time of accident. Court documents say Billy Joe Grimes, 55, of Lancing, Tennessee, is charged with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide, and one count of criminal vehicular operation for his actions during the three-vehicle crash.
