The Anderson County High School Class of 2024 kicked off the area's graduation season last Friday, May 10, with a ceremony on the school's football field. At 7 p.m. Friday, Oak Ridge High and Clinton High seniors graduate on their schools' football fields.

Softball Recap: Wartburg Central's loss ends 12-game winning streak at home
It was a good run, but Wartburg Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Oliver Springs Bobcats by a score of 6-4. Wartburg Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Oliver Springs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Saturday.
