    Special celebrations at Oliver Springs church Saturday and Sunday

    Little Leaf Missionary Baptist Church in Oliver Springs will be celebrating the church's 134th Anniversary and Homecoming, as well as 50 years of singing this weekend.

    At 5 p.m. Saturday, May 4, the Little Leaf Anniversary Choir will celebrate 50 years of singing, with a concert to feature the Douglass Family Gospel Singers of Harriman , and Minister Ira Rankins. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the singing.

    At 11 a.m. Sunday, May 5, the congregation will celebrate their 134th Church Anniversary and Homecoming, according to a news release from the church.

    Elder Kenneth D. Lewis, Little Leaf's interim pastor, will deliver the 11 a.m. message and the choir will sing. Dinner will immediately follow morning worship.

    The 3 p.m. guest speaker and visiting church will be Reverend Willie J. Gallaher and St. Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church of Harriman.

    Little Leaf is located at 228 East Tri-County Boulevard, in Olivers Springs.

    Everyone is invited to all of the events.
