The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office announced April 29 that Jeffrey Mackey, Alexis Nieves, Steven Brown, and Amanda Wallace were charged with multiple crimes, including hindering prosecution, tampering with physical evidence, and concealment of a human corpse.

According to Detectives, Amani Mills, 15, was last seen leaving her Hempstead residence. She is described as a female black, 5’1”, 110 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes. 74-Year-Old Woman Robbed of Pricey Necklace During Westbury Street Scam, Cops Say
The Third Squad is investigating a Grand Larceny that occurred on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in Westbury. According to Detectives, a 74-year old female was walking on Salisbury Park Drive near the intersection of Port Lane when a light colored sedan occupied by a driver and two passengers pulled up next to her. Two passengers exited the vehicle, approached the victim and placed plastic necklaces around her neck. The two subjects then reentered the vehicle and left the scene westbound on Salisbury Park Drive. The victim then realized her own necklace that she was wearing, valued at $5,000 US currency was taken by the subjects. Investigation is ongoing.
