WV Man One Of 14 Arrested In April In Frederick County

(Above) Frederick, Md (KM) A Morgantown, West Virginia man and 13 other people were arrested by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office during the month of April. Donald Denton Hanlin, 44, is charged with wearing, carrying and transporting a weapon; using a gun during a commission of a crime; possession with intent to distribute cocaine and opium; possession of cocaine and opium and their derivatives; possession of synthetic manufactured narcotics; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Two injured in Walnut Street shooting incident Saturday
Two people received minor injuries during a shooting incident near Liquid Lounge on Walnut Street early Saturday morning, per a Morgantown Police release Monday. MPD responded to a shots fired call at approximately 2:51 a.m., discovering a female with a gunshot wound to her “left abdominal area,” the release said. The victim was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment.
