ASBURY PARK, NJ – As summer approaches, Asbury Park officials have outlined the seasonal regulations for dog access on the city’s beaches and boardwalk, ensuring clarity for dog owners and protection for local wildlife. From May 16 to September 14, dogs are prohibited from the Asbury Park beaches, except for the designated Dog Beach, where they can roam during restricted early morning and evening hours. Barnegat Garden Club Plans Rail Trail Tour
The Barnegat Garden Club will lead a plant tour of the Barnegat Branch Trail on Friday, May 31, beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is free. The short, leisurely walk starts at the parking lot by the entrance to the trail. Walkers will stop at the sites of selected plants along the trail and learn about how they have impacted the area historically and in modern times.
