More Williamsburg restaurants close abruptly
Three more restaurants in the Williamsburg area have closed their doors, just weeks after Red Lobster on Richmond Road shut down with no notice. Mooyah, a fast-casual burger joint in Settlers Market, is no longer open for business. The restaurant, which was a locally owned and operated franchise, is now listed as “permanently closed” on Google.
Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society running “name your price” promotion
From Tuesday, June 18 through Sunday, June 23, they are offering a "Name Your Own Adoption Fee" promotion. Normally it costs around $175 to adopt a dog from them, but during this period, they said you can pay what you can afford.
