From Ocean City, the guys at Always Bent Fishing OC reported that they brought the first yellowfin tuna of the season back to the dock after a hazy, early morning trip on Saturday the 18th. Water temperatures are slowly climbing, and after some prolonged warm weather, the bite will only continue to improve the rising water temps. They also reported some quality stripers chewing well in the ocean surf as they continue to make their way up the coast, so grab some chunk bait or soft-plastic jigs and get to casting!
All-Shore Band Concert a resounding success
EASTON — The 2024 All-Shore Band concert was a resounding success. Conductors of the two middle and high school Queen Anne's County Public Schools All-Shore Band groups were Andrew Spang, Junior All-Shore Band and Dr. Mark Lortz, Senior All-Shore Band. Lortz composed an original piece of music for this year titled “Daredevil,” and it premiered at the All-Shore Band Concert. The concert was held at Easton High School in April. TIS Lip Sync Battle Sets a New Record
Talbot Interfaith Shelter (TIS) is delighted to announce the success of the highly anticipated 8th Annual Lip Sync Battle fundraiser on April 27th at the Waterfowl Building in Easton. After incredible success last year, raising nearly $83,000, TIS surpassed this year’s $100,000 fundraising goal to the tune of $112,000 by the end of the live show! Attendees enjoyed an evening of music, laughter, and joy as the community gathered to support TIS’ mission of providing Shelter, Stability, Support, and a path to Success for local families and individuals in need.
