All-Shore Band Concert a resounding success

EASTON — The 2024 All-Shore Band concert was a resounding success. Conductors of the two middle and high school Queen Anne's County Public Schools All-Shore Band groups were Andrew Spang, Junior All-Shore Band and Dr. Mark Lortz, Senior All-Shore Band. Lortz composed an original piece of music for this year titled “Daredevil,” and it premiered at the All-Shore Band Concert. The concert was held at Easton High School in April.

Centreville Middle School Band Director Heather Fullerton was also elected Eastern Shore Band Director's Association president. This will be her fifth two-year term in the role, and her ninth and tenth year leading this fine group of Instrumental Music teachers on the Eastern Shore.

Lortz, senior All-Shore conductor and esteemed composer, has been collaborating with Fullerton on a very special project to be unveiled at the spring Centreville Middle School Band Concert on June 4.
