Kids Fishing Derby
The Mid-Shore Fishing Club of Maryland will host their annual Kids Fishing Derby from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Long Wharf Park in Cambridge. The Rain Date is Saturday, Aug. 10. Open to ages 5 to 12. All children must be accompanied by a guardian. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, Aug. 1. Send email to webmaster@mid-shorefishingclub.com or call Bob at 443-225-6440. Bait and tackle will be provided. Feel free to bring your own rod and reel. There will be water and pizza for the kids at noon. Cambridge police investigating home invasion at Bradford House
CAMBRIDGE — Police are investigating a home invasion that took place at the Bradford House in the 700 block of Race Street. According to a news release from the Cambridge Police Department, officers responded to the apartment complex for a report of a disturbance. When officers arrived, they talked with the victim.
