ELGIN, Ill. – The Illinois State Police (ISP) are turning to the public, seeking crucial leads in a fatal motorcycle crash on I-290. The harrowing incident unfolded on May 5, 2023, around 11:13 p.m., just east of Illinois Route 83 in DuPage County. Tragically, the motorcyclist was declared dead on-site. Suspicions are high that another vehicle, which left the scene, played a part.

CHICAGO - Illinois State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the person responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash on Interstate 290 earlier this year. On May 5, troopers responded to a crash involving a motorcycle on westbound I-290 just east of Route 83 in DuPage County, a statement from Illinois State Police said. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 17-year-old male suffered a laceration to his leg and a 19-year-old male was pepper sprayed during an altercation Thursday night. Bolingbrook officers responded to the Walmart located at 200 S Bolingbrook Dr. around 8:00 pm for a report of multiple people fighting. Upon arrival of police, the people involved in the altercation had already dispersed.
