Motorcyclist Life-Flighted After Sunday Crash in La Salle County
OTTAWA – A 56-year-old Plainfield man was Life-Flighted to a Peoria hospital after a motorcycle crash Sunday. The La Salle County Sheriff’s Office say deputies were called to South Ottawa Township around 1:30 PM for the single vehicle crash. Authorities say Manuel Salazar-Vazquez was traveling west on N. 2650th Road near E. 1529th Road when, for unknown reasons, he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle, entered the north ditch and struck a tree. He was life flighted to OSF Saint Francis Peoria. His current condition was not disclosed and the crash remains under investigation.
