Kane County Mar 04 Weekly Crime Report: 1311 Incidents and 9 Crime Stories. During the last week, Kane County experienced a total of 1311 reported crime cases. The majority of these cases, approximately 71%, were classified under the 'Other' category, totaling 928 incidents. The second most common type of crime was 'Suspicious Situation' with 94 cases, representing about 7% of the total incidents. This was closely followed by 'Domestic Related' cases, which amounted to 81 incidents. The place also witnessed 69 instances of 'Theft', 34 cases each of 'Assault' and 'Trespass', and 31 'Arrests'. Less frequent but still significant were 'Vandalism' cases with 20 incidents, 'Shootings' with 7 incidents, and 'Burglary' with 6 reported cases. The least common types of crimes were 'Argument', 'Disturbance', and 'Robbery', each accounting for less than 1% of the total crime cases. The high number of crimes classified as 'Other' suggests that a wide variety of less common crimes were also committed.
