Williamsport, Pa. — The Williamsport Home appointed a new executive director this month, naming Jen Cisneros, RN, NHA, PCHA to the role.

Cisneros replaces longtime Executive Director Don Pote, who has retired following 23 years of service at the Loyalsock Township continuing care retirement community.

In her new role, Cisneros is overseeing all operations on campus, including the community’s independent living, personal care, and skilled nursing facilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction, quality of life, people-centered care, and teamwork.

“I am excited to move into this position, and I look forward to building upon the legacy of exceptional care and service that Don and the team have established,” Cisneros said.

Cisneros most recently served as The Williamsport Home's nursing home administrator, where she led day-to-day operations and provided strategic leadership to clinical, managerial, and support teams. Under her leadership, the Home implemented improved financial processes, increased quality measures, and implemented an effective grievance program.

In 2019, Cisneros was the recipient of McKnight’s Senior Living’s Rising Star Award.

Cisneros earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Wilkes University, and a bachelor of science degree in health care administration from the University of Phoenix. She is a Registered Nurse, a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, a licensed Personal Care Home Administrator, and a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
