    List of suspects arrested in major federal operation

    AUTHOR’S NOTE: This story will be updated with the latest information regarding the multi-agency federal operation in Wichita Falls that took place on Thursday morning, May 16, 2024.


    WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — A major operation that involved multiple local, state, and federal agencies yielded 21 drug-related arrests in Wichita Falls and the surrounding areas on Thursday morning, May 16, 2024.

    During a press conference on Thursday morning, Wichita Falls Police Chief Manuel Borrego said 21 individuals were arrested during the operation. He said the suspects were being held in the Wichita County Jail on a federal hold without bond.

    As of the publication of this story, 18 individuals were listed in the Wichita County Jail on a federal hold by the U.S. Marshal or another local law enforcement agency on Thursday, May 16, 2024, the day of the federal operation.

    • Elisha Earl Johnson , of Wichita Falls (29 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Brandy Lynn Flowers , of Wichita Falls (14 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Shedrick Cortez Cyrus , of Wichita Falls (23 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Sarah Leann Davis-Parker , of Byers (3 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Jimmie Scott Williams , of Wichita Falls (7 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Robert Tobar Bustamante , of Vernon (2 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Madeline Josephine Kearney , of Wichita Falls (27 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Tanga Yontarai Wyatt , of Wichita Falls (7 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Kenzie June Lozano , of Vernon (4 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • William Lee Freeman , of Burkburnett (31 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Nicholas Bryan Darcus , of Wichita Falls (23 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Dwight Albert Simpson , of Wichita Falls (35 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Stanley Wayne Britt , of Iowa Park (10 prior arrests in Wichita County)
    • Jaryd Blake Howard , of Wichita Falls (21 prior arrests in Wichita County)

    According to authorities, the arrests were all drug-related and followed over a year of investigation. Over 300 law enforcement personnel were involved in the operation involved several local, state, and federal agencies, including:

    • Wichita Falls Police Department
    • Wichita County Sheriff’s Office
    • Drug Enforcement Division of the Wichita County District Attorney’s Office
    • Texas Department of Public Safety
    • Wilbarger County Sheriff’s Office
    • Crowell Police Department
    • Clay County Sheriff’s Office
    • Vernon Police Department
    • Federal Bureau of Investigation
    • U.S. Marshal Services
    • SWAT teams from several different FBI offices.
