MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department has opened a death investigation after a body was found Thursday morning. Police and fire medics responded to the 3400 block of Lower Wetumpka Road just before 6:30 a.m. on reports that a man was unresponsive. Montgomery police investigating 2 separate Wednesday afternoon shootings
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that injured a girl and a separate shooting that has a man in life-threatening condition. According to MPD, on Wednesday at about 2:50 p.m., police and Fire Medics responded to the 440 block of Virginia Loop Road regarding a person being shot. On the scene, first responders located a juvenile female victim who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
