Sanford clinic in Minot holds grand opening

MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - The new Sanford Landmark clinic in north Minot held its official grand opening on Thursday. We got to tour the new facility a few weeks ago, and now the building has seen a few updates. The clinic is able to provide most services in one building, including mammogram screenings. They also provide pediatrics, primary care, family care, X-Ray, and more.

Influenza Activity Increases More Than COVID In North Dakota

(Bismarck, ND) — Influenza cases are up more than COVID cases in North Dakota. This comes from the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services, which updated its weekly summary of respiratory disease activity for the week ending October 17th. The department reported 26 new influenza cases and 13 new COVID cases for the week, bringing the seasonal totals up to 142 influenza cases and 220 COVID cases. The season is defined as starting on August 1st and ending July 31st, 2027. Records indicate there were no deaths during that week. Officials say more than 12 percent of residents aged six months or older have received the flu shot this season.
