A student from Benton Central Sr. High School, Jaden Harvey, died in a fatal accident in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. The crash happened at U.S. 52 and County Road 400 West, near West Lafayette. For the 50th celebration of the Festival of the Turning Leaves, the organizers elected to pay tribute to the festival’s roots and focus on bringing the Thorntown community and community members from surrounding areas together for a day of festivities and celebrations. Man convicted of murder in 2021 deadly shooting on Indy's southeast side
INDIANAPOLIS — Following a two-day jury trial, a Crawfordsville man was convicted of murder in the 2021 deadly shooting of another man on Indianapolis' southeast side, the Marion County Prosecutor's Office announced Wednesday. Kyle Roberts was also convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
