Alumnus gifts $10 million to Purdue business school
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. − Purdue alumnus Gerald Lyles and his wife Nanette have donated $10 million to the Mitchell E. Daniels Jr. School of Business. The Lyles family is familiar with giving to Purdue with their $15 million gift they provided in 2014 to name the Lyles School of Civil Engineering. The family also helped establish the Lyles Family Ideas to Innovation Learning Laboratory, the William M. Lyles Computational Laboratory and Lyles-Porter Hall, among other contributions, according to a release.

Woman killed on Sagamore Parkway identified
A woman hit by a car on Sagamore Parkway on Wednesday morning has been identified as 25-year-old Megan Johnson, a resident of Veedersburg, Indiana. Johnson was reportedly running naked across the four-lane highway from the north when a car struck and killed her about 4:40 a.m. She had reportedly left her car at Pay Less gas pumps earlier in the morning.

After suffering a season-ending injury last season, Coursey was forced to watch from the dugout as his Athenians missed the presence of one of their top players. From the moment he was cleared last summer until now, Coursey has been using last season as added motivation and drive. It resulted in a special senior season, that while ended sooner than most Athenian fans wanted, was still one to remember.
