(CBS DETROIT) - Michigan's housing agency and the attorney general's office are warning residents about a scam involving fake housing vouchers to obtain personal information. The Michigan State Housing Development Authority says it has been receiving reports about a non-government group using its name and logo to promote fake housing voucher programs on Facebook and in person. Police identify 64-year-old bicyclist killed when struck by car
WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – Police have identified a man who died after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle near Ypsilanti. Maurice Williams, 64, was killed when he was hit by a car around 5:20 p.m. June 3, according to Derrick Jackson, Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson. Williams had been riding his bicycle at the crosswalk near Dorset Avenue and U.S. 12 in Ypsilanti Township when a car heading east on U.S. 12 struck him.
