Michigan defensive back vying for starting role enters transfer portal
A promising young defensive back pushing for a starting job this fall is the latest Michigan player to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Sophomore cornerback DJ Waller Jr., who appeared in 11 games as a true freshman and was in line for additional playing time as a sophomore, entered his name into the portal on Wednesday, a team spokesman confirmed to MLive.
