Washington Mystics' new promotion includes bottomless mimosas and more

The Washington Mystics have added a new entry into the annals of sport and time: basketball and brunch.

If you've ever wondered what professional basketball might look like if it had the tailgate scene of NFL and college football games, the Mystics have a similar experience that is tailored to the signature D.C. brunch vibe.

Fans can watch the Mystics play at 100-level seating with access to a pregame feast that includes bottomless mimosas and an extensive brunch spread with chicken and waffles and fruit and pastries.

In the inaugural basketball and brunch game, Washington lost 84-75 to the Seattle Storm on Sunday. The Mystics are set to have three more brunch games this year, featuring contests against the Dallas Wings and Las Vegas Aces , which have already sold out.
