    Trumbull County man pleads guilty to robbery, endangering children charges

    WARREN, Ohio (WKBN)- A Newton Falls man pleaded guilty to robbery and other charges on Tuesday.

    According to a press release from the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office, Patrick D. Johnson, 34, pleaded guilty to an amended indictment charging him with three third-degree felonies of robbery, burglary and endangering children.

    This case is regarding an incident on December 19, 2023, where deputies said that a mobile home was broken into, a puppy was stolen, and a young child was left unattended at Blue Water Manor in Newton Township.

    Johnson could face up to nine years in prison.

    The press release says that Johnson will be sentenced after he undergoes a background investigation conducted by probation officers.
