WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating after suspects burglarized a smoke shop in a stolen vehicle early this morning in Wallingford.

At around 3:00 a.m., police say four juvenile males clothed in all black and wearing gloves and ski masks entered the Puff City Smoke Shop on 722 North Colony Rd. The thieves smashed the front door and proceeded to steal electronic cigarettes, commonly known as vapes.

The suspects then fled in a silver Hyundai Sonata that officials say was stolen out of Waterbury.

The owner of the smoke shop did not share how much money in inventory was stolen or what brand of vapes were taken.

Wallingford police continue to investigate this theft, check back with News 8 for updates.
