Downstate man sentenced in Menominee County on cocaine charge
MENOMINEE, MI— A Traverse City man has been sentenced in Menominee County on a cocaine charge. Raymond MacLeod, 39, was given 18 months to 4 years in prison. Last October, Michigan State Police conducted a traffic stop on US-41 near Snow Road in Nadeau Township. During the investigation, a K-9 was deployed. The dog alerted troopers to 8 grams of cocaine in the passenger compartment.
Upper Peninsula man sentenced for threatening state worker with explosives
MENOMINEE, MI – A 41-year-old Michigan man is sentenced to prison time for threatening a state worker during a phone call, WLUC reports. Asher Allan McNeil, of Menominee, pleaded guilty to attempted threat of terrorism and was sentenced in 41st Circuit Court to three to five years in prison, the report said.
