WACO, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — Back-to-back Sunday losses led to a series loss for Baylor with Kansas taking the decisive third game, 12-2.

The Bears only offensive bright spot came from Wesley Jordan in the bottom of the sixth. Jordan cranked a two-run home run for his seventh of the season to put Baylor on the board but it wasn’t enough to match Kansas’ bats.

The Jayhawks tacked on five early runs and Ben Hartl provided the dagger in the top of the sixth inning with a grand slam, Kansas’ second-straight contest with a bases-clearing homer.

The Bears look to bounce back next at Baylor Ballpark when they take on Sam Houston State on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:30 p.m.
