Police looking for missing, endangered man

VENICE — Authorities are looking for a man who is considered endangered, according to a social media post.

James Louis Terra, 78, walked away from a facility at 200 N. Nassau St. in Venice at about 8:30 a.m. Monday, Venice Police stated.

"James has been diagnosed with dementia and another medical condition that is of concern," it stated. "He was last seen leaving on foot wearing a blue sweatshirt and gray jogging pants."

He is a while man, standing 5-foot-11 inches tall, with a medium build.

"He walks unassisted and should be carrying no possessions or bags," it stated. "He is possibly in the island area of Venice or east."
