TYLER, Texas — An East Texas man accused of giving the orders that led to the 2020 shooting death of a motorcyclist in the Chapel Hill area was arrested this week. Chad Michael Crowell, 38, of Eustace, was booked into the Smith County Jail Tuesday on a directing activities of a criminal street gang charge, which is a first-degree felony. He remains jailed on a $2.5 million.
