POLICE: Pedestrian struck, killed while walking across traffic on US 69 in Lindale
LINDALE, Texas — A pedestrian was struck by a truck and killed Friday night after police say he was walking across traffic in Lindale. Bill Darling, 60, of Oregon, was walking across US Highway 69 while it was raining around 8:15 p.m. Friday when a large truck struck him. Darling was pronounced dead at the scene, Lindale Police Department Capt. Brent Chambers said.

CANEY CITY, Texas (KLTV) - Narcotics investigators found a substance they believe to be fentanyl in a woman’s car during a traffic stop on Friday. Investigators stopped Edna Patricia Little, 45, of Royse City, as she was driving in Caney City, according to a release from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office. She was the only person in the vehicle, and authorities found a substance they believed to be fentanyl in the car.
