East Texas woman on trial for murder pleads guilty to lesser charge in shooting death
LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - A Longview woman accused of murder in 2021 pleaded guilty to manslaughter Thursday. Jeanne-Marie Minter, 39, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault family with a weapon and murder on May 14, 2021, after Chris Baker, 41, of Longview, was shot to death in a home on East Pliler Precise Road.

LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Two men are in jail in connection with the 2016 murder of a prominent Longview businessman. Ronnie Horaney, well-known Longview resident and owner of Horaney’s Feed Store, was shot to death at his home on Tryon Road on May 30, 2016. Since that day no arrests were made until Wednesday, when Reza Kamali, 87, of Longview, was booked into the Gregg County Jail on a charge of murder. Another man, Alfredo Lizcano, 38, of Garland, was arrested and booked into the Dallas County Jail on a charge of murder the same day.
