Muncie Central vs Logansport football sectional championship updates
Sectional championship week of the IHSAA football postseason is here, and only one East Central Indiana team is left standing. Muncie Central (8-4) will host Class 4A No. 10 Logansport (12-0) for the Class 4A Sectional 20 championship. The Bearcats stunned Yorktown in a 28-27 instant classic last week to punch their ticket to a sectional championship game for the first time since 2006. The Berries are coming into this game undefeated and ended the Bearcats' season in the sectional semifinals a year ago, so the purple and white are seeking some revenge as they look to bring home the program's first sectional title in 20 years. Smith-Green schools face budget cuts after voters reject referendum
CHURUBUSCO, Ind. (WPTA) — Smith-Green Community Schools is preparing to make budget cuts after voters rejected an operating referendum, though district officials have not yet decided where those cuts will be made.
