Riverside Girl’s Track Earned Third in Class 1A State Track and Field Championship
(Des Moines, IA) – With the second-highest attended State Track and Field Meet on record, the Riverside Bulldogs were able to show off to a crowd of thousands of people while earning third place in Class 1A after tying with St. Albert with 37 team points. This meet marked a lot of firsts for Riverside while also marking a lot of top finishes at the meet overall and a few three-peats to put on the side.

Treynor softball returning plenty of experience, seeking more grit
(Treynor) -- A new softball season is about to begin in Treynor and with it comes plenty of optimism and excitement for the Cardinals. "It's an exciting time," Treynor head coach Kara Huisman said. "We're excited to get going. It's crazy with spring. We had a lot of state tracksters, soccer is still playing, and we've had some golfers, but we've taken them when we can get them."
AHSTW Looking to Compete this Season Under New Head Coach
(Avoca, IA) The Lady Vikes start their softball season this week with games against Audubon, Tri-Center and Riverside. AHSTW will be looking for a similar start to last year going 4-1 in their first five games. However, the Lady Vikes didn’t finish the season the way they started, finishing the year with a record of 14-18. Now they are under a new head coach, Katie Pace who in her first season is looking to develop her youth talents.

(Council Bluffs) -- St. Albert multi-sport standout Ella Klusman will play soccer at the next level with College of St. Mary in Omaha. The Saintes’ all-around star wasn’t sure she would play anything at the next level. However, things became clear for her during a match against Harlan this year.
