Southern Ill. hospital remains closed after flooding
ELDORADO, Ill. (KFVS) - A hospital in southern Illinois remains closed after it was damaged by flooding. According to an update from hospital leaders on Monday, May 13, the Ferrell Hospital Family Practice Clinic remains closed. However, they say several other Ferrell Hospital clinics will have extended weekday evening hours and weekend clinic hours starting on Tuesday.

Preliminary Survey Results: EF-1 Tornado Hits Near Carbondale
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- An EF-1 tornado is to blame for some minor damage in Williamson County during the recent round of severe weather. According to the Williamson County Emergency Management Director Brian Burgess, the area was surveyed by the National Weather Service on Thursday in the southwest portion of Williamson County around Skyhawk Road. A preliminary survey indicated an EF-1 tornado hit the area on Wednesday with winds at around 90 mph.
