CASTLE HAYNE, NC (WWAY) – Two Holly Shelter Middle School students earned some recent honors with the work they did. Olivia Stetler and Zipporah Tunnage took 1st place in the junior group exhibit – winning the HG Jones NC History Award from the state archives for their project on the 1898 Wilmington coup and massacre.

A Deep Run man was arrested in Pink Hill Thursday for trafficking methamphetamine.
