FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A juvenile was injured after a shooting in Cumberland County Wednesday night, according to the sheriff’s office. On Wednesday at 11:40 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 4300 block of Pleasant View Drive regarding a drive-by shooting. After arriving, deputies found the residence empty with several bullet holes.
Man dies after stabbing at sports bar near Spring Lake early Wednesday
A man died early Wednesday after being stabbed just after midnight at a Cumberland County sports bar, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release. According to the release, the stabbing at Pyrates Sports Bar on West Manchester Road, near Spring Lake off Bragg Boulevard, was reported at 12:11 a.m. The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he later died, the release said.
