COMMUNITY CLASSROOM: Teacher seeks funding for inclusive field day for students
BURGAW, N.C. (WECT) - A teacher at C.F.Pope Elementary School is hoping to raise enough money to buy water hoses, hose splitters and shut-off valves. Tina Croom, a third through fifth grade teacher, would like to buy the equipment to replace worn or outdated materials. They would be used during a field day for students. She’s asking for donations through DonorsChoose, an online charity that helps teachers get funding for school projects.
