Softball Recap: Port Jervis picks up sixth straight win at home
Port Jervis can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They never let the Liberty Indians onto the board and left with a 12-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Port Jervis sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

St. Joseph by-the-Sea clicked in all facets of the game in a 30-14 takedown of St. Joseph Hill Monday in Huguenot to advance to yet another CHSAA championship game. The defending champion Vikings, whose speed and skill was too much for the upstart Hilltoppers who came from behind in dramatic fashion to defeat Maria Regina 22-18 in the quarterfinals last week, will meet Moore Catholic (a 31-20 victor over Xaverian) in the title game Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Graniteville.
DV boys’ volleyball beats Hazelton
Delaware Valley boys’ volleyball regular season has come to an end for home games. I am looking forward to playoff games to follow. The season ended in very impressive form. Delaware Valley swept Hazelton in three straight games on May 8. Not just a sweep but a sweep in domination fashion. The scores per set were 25-8, 25-12, and 25-17. Hazelton improved as the games advanced, but the outcome was never really in doubt.
