South Windsor, Conn./WTIC Radio - There's been an arrest in connection with a case of animal cruelty in South Windsor.

Police say Janiya Bradford, 26, of Manchester, turned herself in on Thursday.

Her arrest stems from the case of a dog found tethered to a tree by its collar on April 22nd.

The name "Kobe" was written on the dog's collar.

Animal control and police investigators determined the dog was left intentionally at the Neiderwerfer Wildlife Sanctuary on Neiderwerfer Road.

Bradford is free on a $5,000 bond and is due in court in Manchester June 5th.
